Bungalow Extension
This bungalow extension created an extended lounge, large kitchen and ensuite. The inside of the bungalow was completely renovated and decorated and took approximately 4 months to complete. The photographs show the kitchen with integral appliances and natural slate floor, the en-suite and the family bathroom. The work resulted in the following testamonial.
“Jeff Parsons carried out a large renovation and extension project on my bungalow, the work was carried out to a high professional standard
Extension with Oak Frame Porch
This extension created a large lounge, bedroom and bath/shower room. Some of the materials used were from a reclaimed source and green oak used for the porch.
Alterations and Renovations
This property needed completely modernising to allow for a larger galley style kitchen. Sliding patio doors enhanced the long lounge / diner which has now had oak laminate flooring added. This is an on going project for our clients.
Bathrooms, showers etc
Depending on whether you want to completely renew your bathroom or if you wish to just re-tile we are able arrange either.
Commercial Cloakrooms
These club premises chose to upgrade the facilities in both the ladies and gentlemens cloakrooms. The work required quite major internal alterations with the club remaining open throughout the works therefore portacabin loos were arranged to allow for this.
Inbuilt Understairs Cupboards
This understairs cupboard was built in situ to the exact size to give our client a large storage area in an otherwise wasted space.
Our client gave us this comment "Many thanks for an excellent job. We are very pleased".
Paths & Driveways
The large driveway covering an area of approximately 90sq mts was built before the current regulations came into force but was built to allow for drainage. The smaller drive picture was built under the new regulations. This shows there is very little or no difference in their appearances. The scalloped pathway was achieved by using crescent moon shaped slabs and leads from the driveway to the main entrance.
The sandstone patio was created by me helping my client, we then arranged for a local fe
Decking
This decking was in a school playground to give the children an area where they could sit and as shown they added a mural.
Kitchens and Utility Room
The Kitchen shown here was part of a completion of a renovation in a building in a conservation area of which the floors and ceilings were very uneven as you will see if you look at the tops of the units. The utility area was created in a garage with the client sending us this comment, "Many thanks, I'm very pleased with my lovely new laundry/utility room"
Fascias and Soffits
UPVC fascias and soffits replaced old timber ones on this property however if you prefer we can replace with timber.
Decorative Timbers
The decorative timbers on this property were replaced by using treated softwood timber
Restoration
This bungalow was in need of restoration in a way that was sympathetic to its surroundings. As you can see from the photographs the roof structure was slightly unusual for the reason that under the tiles was featheredge boarding of which some needed renewing. After completing the roof we put replacement upvc fascias and soffits together with new guttering and then arranged for a local firm to fit replacement windows and door. This property also had a large flat roof area from a previous loft con
Replacement Cladding
This 200 year old cottage needed the cladding replaced together with some replacement double glazed windows. Although the owners would have liked to keep the character of the cottage they decided that as they have reached retirement age they would replace the timber with upvc, they did however decide that the windows would be woodgrain upvc, which is what we arranged. At the same time they bought a conservatory from the internet which we erected for them.
The conservatory will be used as a smal
Loft conversion
We were asked to do the structural work in a loft conversion that the owners started themselves. This included supplying and fitting a purpose made staircase, strengthening floor joists as required by building regulations. The clients will complete all decorating and electrical work themselves. We are showing photos of some of the work we undertook. The insulation used is a product called Thinsulex which is much thinner than conventional insulation but has an equal if not larger insulation value
Front Extension
This front 2 storey extension comprises shower room and toilet on the ground floor also enlarging the bedroom on the first floor. The work on this property involved making a barrier to deal with Radon gases in the area and because of how the drainage system originally ran we had to re-run the rainwater to the front of the property and the main drainage the length of the drive to the rear of the property. The front door was moved to the side of the property to allow a larger shower room. Our phot
